Both Haneul and MC ORI mentioned that Haneul had spent a great deal of time redesigning the program. He wanted to create as many opportunities as possible to interact directly with fans, so he kept revising the schedule over and over until he was satisfied.
One of those interaction segments was “Haneul’s Advice Corner.”
It was filled with thoughtful, heartfelt answers, so I’d like to share what I remember.

Haneul couldn’t help but laugh.
It was such a sweet, sibling-style quarrel over a fan sign. So what kind of advice would he give them?

Umm… if you want to get along, you have to do an equivalent exchange. LOL.
Wait… “equivalent exchange”!?
For a moment, it sounds like some kind of economic term.
But knowing Haneul, and knowing that he is an anime fan,
I have a feeling we can safely assume he was borrowing the idea
from the “Law of Equivalent Exchange” in Fullmetal Alchemist.
And then Haneul shared a little story about how he used to do something similar with his younger brother.
「너는 이거 가져갔으니까, 난 이거 할게.」 이렇게요.
Like, ‘You took this, so I’ll do this.’
저도 동생하고 그렇게 했어요.
I did that with my younger brother, too.
Then he added:
그런데 이렇게 같이 와주셨다는 건 사이가 좋은 것 같은데요?
But the fact that you came here together like this means I think you two are actually close.
사이 좋아 보이세요.
You look like you get along well💙
After all, these sisters had come to the fan meeting together in the first place.
Their little squabble over a fan sign was hardly a real fight—it was just one of those very sibling-like interactions.
Haneul seemed to watch the whole thing with a warm smile and answer the question in his usual playful way.💙

One of the nicest things about the family-related questions in Haneul’s Advice Corner is that they often give us a glimpse into Haneul’s own family life.
It is well known that Haneul has a younger brother who is two years younger. He has also talked about their close relationship even as adults, including some amusing stories on Pinggyego (핑계고).
And honestly… Haneul looks so beautiful in this clip. 🩵

Mini Korean Lesson｜-으니까 / -니까: “Because…” / “Since…”
One expression from Haneul’s answer that is worth taking a closer look at is:
너는 이거 가져갔으니까, 난 이거 할게.
“You took this, so I’ll do this.”
The grammar -으니까 / -니까 is used to express a reason, meaning “because…”, “since…”, or “so…”.
가져갔으니까
가져가다 means “to take something.”
Its past tense is:
가져갔다 → “took”
When -으니까 is added:
가져갔다 + 으니까 → 가져갔으니까
= “because you took it” / “since you took it”
The basic rule is:
- After a verb stem ending in a consonant (받침) → -으니까
- After a verb stem ending in a vowel → -니까
For example:
- 먹다 → 먹으니까 = because I eat / because I’m eating
- 있다 → 있으니까 = because there is / because I am there
- 가다 → 가니까 = because I go / because I’m going
- 하다 → 하니까 = because I do / because I’m doing
