Haneul’s Advice Corner #4“I’m so cute, but I don’t have a boyfriend. How can I get one?”

And this is where the audience started reacting.
There was laughter, surprise, and applause.

When someone says, “I’m this cute,” you naturally want to see what she looks like, right?

Unfortunately, she was sitting all the way at the back, and it was fairly dark there because the lights were dimmed.

I couldn’t really see her very well. (What a shame!)

I’m sure she really is cute, but I think she was also half-joking when she described herself as “this cute.”

So Haneul seemed to pick up on that atmosphere and decided to play along with her half-serious, half-joking question.

At this moment, I thought:

I’m so jealous that she got Haneul to tell her she’s cute! 💙💗

And then:

Haneul, that’s not “if there’s a nice guy around you.”
LOOK IN THE MIRROR!!!!　

She was expressing her cuteness to the nice guy standing right in front of her with all her heart! 💗

Haneul has probably received this kind of affectionate attention from fans many times before.
(Just look at some of his past videos—there are so many!)

So he’s clearly gotten used to casually taking it in stride😂

Still, just being told directly, in front of everyone, that she was cute must have been such a precious gift.

I was honestly very jealous💗

He casually took her affectionate approach in stride, while complimenting the very thing that made her adorable.

How many other actors would respond like that?

On a little side note, there was one thing I noticed about the way Haneul spoke during this exchange.

When he said “이렇게 이렇게 이렇게” (“like this, like this, like this”), he was actually copying her gestures with his hands.

Haneul often uses “이렇게 이렇게” along with gestures when he talks.

There’s something about the way he says “이렇게 이렇게 이렇게”—almost like a little boy💙

He says it in this rapid-fire way, almost dadadada,

like a little child who is trying so hard to explain something with both words and gestures,

as if his words can’t quite keep up with how quickly he wants to get his point across.

Am I the only one who secretly finds that adorable?

It makes me imagine how cute he must have been as a little boy, excitedly telling his mother all about something with his hands flying everywhere.

And once that imagination starts, there’s no stopping it💙

Also, “너무너무” came up twice in this exchange. He uses it quite a lot, too😂 I’d love to write about that someday as well!
